Meet Our Nadya!

N5

Meet Our Nadya! I'm sorry it's taken so long to do a post, for some reason I thought it would be easier to do updates. {What was I thinking!!?}

She was born on September 14 at 1:40 pm. After 6 hours of labor and 36 min. of pushing!! She weighed 7lbs 3oz and was 20 inches long! She's her Daddy's mini-me but she has my eyes and my brown hair {for now!}. She also has my monkey toes! One of my favorite things thru this whole experience Rhett said, "Who ever says they don't believe in love at first sight hasn't had a kid." We are totally in Love! :)

So here is an overload of pictures! I'm sure everyone is dying to see!

Look How Much We've Grown!!

So the bad news is I am officially past my due date. Good news is unless I go into labor tonight I get to be induced tomorrow! Yes my prediction of having our baby early was obviously way wrong!
I think Heavenly Father has quite the sense of humor.. every time I tentatively plan on something going one way he likes to remind me who's really in charge.. :)
This I am grateful for tho. It has really strengthened my testimony that Heavenly Father really has a plan for me specifically. Looking back on my life, it has always turned out better then I could have ever imagined.
There has been so much change for us in the last 9 months It's unbelievable. The fact that we get to end the 9 months with a beautiful baby just makes all that we have gone thru even more incredible!

So I get to start calling the hospital at 10 tomorrow night to see if they have space for me, and hopefully we will be in there by midnight. According to the Dr. they like to monitor you even during the early induction process. At our apt. on Friday I was dilated to a 3 so that means they will start me directly on Pitocin and hopefully I will get to sleep somewhat thru the process. If all goes well we will have a baby by Wednesday! {I hear being dilated already should make being induced a little less painful.} keep your fingers crossed and keep us in your prayers please!!
My mom is also flying in on Thursday! I can't wait to see her! My mom and I have always been close and I think this has been the longest amount of time I have had to go without seeing her. I know it's all apart of growing up and it's good for me but, I just miss her so much! It really will just be the cherry on top!

So with tomorrow being my last day pregnant I decided to share some pictures of how much Our Nadya and I have grown!

2.4.11

Our first ultrasound taken at our first appointment on 2.4.11. I remember how my heart rushed when I saw her for the first time! {I also remember taking in a deep, deep breath when they said just checking to make sure there aren't 2! lol!} I love this picture cause she looks like she's smiling at us! :)

4.12.11

This was when we got to find out we were having a little girl on 4.12.11. Rhett flew to Kentucky the next day for his 2nd interview at the Best Buy Distribution Center! {He obviously got the job!} We got 2 of the best news ever in one week!

30 week ultrasound 2

Our first appointment with our Kentucky Dr. on 7.8.11. We love our Dr.'s here! They are the perfect match for our personalities. I don't so much Love the Ultrasound device however.. the pictures it takes just aren't as good! oh well!

The first pregnancy picture I took on 5.29.11. I wonder how many people were disappointed at the fact that there really wasn't much to see! I remember people looking at me like I just had a beer belly or something! Loved it!

The best profile picture I had taken on 7.14.11. {It was fun to show off my new hair cut and my baby bump at the same time!}

9.12.11

The latest picture I took special for all of you today 9.12.11!

Some things I know I want to do with the next baby is #1 have my sister Nicole take some pregnancy shots of me. #2 take a profile picture of myself the same day I have an ultrasound done. I think it would be so fun to put them side by side to show how much baby has grown and how much I have grown!

I know I'm still not very big but it's the biggest I have been my whole life! I am so ready to have our little girl! I have learned so much about myself the last 9 months and I cant wait to grow and change more as I figure my way thru motherhood.
I can't wait to be in the labor process {let me make that clear, I'm not looking forward to being in labor} because I can't wait to to lean and depend on Rhett in a way that I never have had to before. I look forward to sharing this experience with him, the last 9 months has brought us so much closer then I ever thought was possible. I know going thru this will be the same way. He's my Best Friend!

The next post I do will be of our Plus One! Keep track of us on facebook throughout the rest of this week. Rhett will be updating everyone with pics and what not via his wonderful Samsung smart phone! {love that thing!}

Rhett's Work

I have wanted to take pictures of where Rhett works and what he does so that family and friends could see but I didn't think it was possible, so I never asked him about it. I didn't think it was possible because he works for a Best Buy Distribution Center where they have tons of product in the building. You actually have to check in your cell phone and any other thing that you may have to take in, due to the fact that they store and ship out those kinds of things every day. They are very thorough in making sure that nothing leaves their building that shouldn't. Which is good!

Rhett was talking to his sister Kylee the other day and she asked him to take pictures so that they could see where he works, what he does, and what its like, and he said, "Oh ya! That's a good idea, I can do that!" Being a supervisor it's not as much of a pain for him to check in his cell phone, he does it everyday. So he took some pictures with his phone and I'm posting them here on the blog for all to see! {If only I had known that would be that easy :)}

This building is Huge! As you drive up it's crazy to see how big it is but when you go inside it looks even bigger! It's nuts! {all these pictures are of the inside of the building by the way, he didn't take any of the outside}

This is a profile picture of the receiving dock. This is an area I cover in the building. All product for the product return center comes in the truck doors on the left of this picture.

This picture is my view from my on floor desk. Behind the yellow fence is the conveyor belt where product is entered into the system by inductors. I've supervised between 12 and 20 inductors at one time. Overall, my crew consists of nearly 30 people.

This view is of our research and repack stations where to the right, store transfer issues are resolved and to the left, open box returns are repackaged to be shipped to vendors.

This area is aptly named "pallet land" where pallets of product are staged and await return authorization.

This is the racking system where pallets of product are staged when we are at regular volume capacity.

The desk in front is my "off the floor" desk where I store my paper work and hide my candy...

On a different note we had another Dr. appointment today and I am dilated between 2 and 3 cm! Once again I know I could be at this stage for quite a while but I figure progress is progress no matter how long it may take, so I'm celebrating it! :) yippee!!
