So as most of you know we have moved to the Louisville, Kentucky area. We are loving it! It's so green and warm! Also for those who have not had a chance to hear we are also pregnant with a little girl! Our due date is September 1st! We have decided to name her Nadya Lyn Briggs! We cant wait to bring her into this crazy world!
We love Our new Branch! We received callings this last Sunday. Rhett got called to be a Primary Worker and i was called to be the Gospel Doctrine teacher. Needless to say we were both shocked by the callings i wasn't sure if i should laugh or cry.. and cry i did do.. but we know there is a reason for everything and this is where the Lord wants us.
Rhett loves his job! Its keeping him on his toes. He loves being in a leadership position and is always thinking of ways he can help improve as well as inspire his employees.
The hours have been a little crazy so it makes going out and discovering new things a little interesting, but we have plenty of time and we definitely plan on experiencing all that Kentucky has to offer!
As for me.. things have been a little slower.. OK a lot slower! I'm so used to having a full time job that kept me on my feet and interacting people. Now i spend my time at home. This has definitely been a big adjustment. However I am really excited to start this new chapter in my life of mother hood. I know these next few months are going to go by so fast and my next full time job will be chasing little feet around and i cant wait!
In the mean time i have tried to keep myself busy with learning by pattern and sheer imagination some fun crochet projects! I've considered possibly making some things in bulk to sell, well see what kind of responses i get. I'll post some pictures soon of what i have learned. I'm still trying to learn how to use our camera. It's all a work in progress!
Also i keep getting messages about people wanting to see my baby bump, let me help ease the desire by saying there isn't much to see.. most people here have told me, "Oh i didn't even know you were pregnant!" My response is.. "Do i look like a naturally fat person to you!!?" or at least that what i silently think to myself. But as soon as we get some time and the weather decides to cooperate we will get some up to date pictures of the two of us. That way all who are wondering what prego. Lynlee looks like will finally have a solid image! :)
